David Guetta’s wooden dock gets crashed by fellow DJs

David Guetta, the internationally known French DJ, has actually been left with a huge repair bill after Dj Tiesto crashed a luxury yacht into dance music star’s dock at his home in Miami, Florida. Tiesto was on board Dave Grutman’s (LIV club owner) top-of-the-line yacht with DJ Martin Garrix on 25th March, Wednesday, when they paid a visit to David’s South Beach home to pick him up for a party.

But, the engine stalled when they came near the pad and the Dutch DJ as well as his band were unable to stop the boat from barreling into the dock made of wood. None was injured in the mishap and the yacht escaped without a single scratch. A leading site reported that repairs may cost Guetta around $30,000 (£18,750).

DJ Garrix posted the footage of the incident on his Instagram page. It show that David laughing at his friends hysterically at hi friends before he joined them on the yacht. The wealthy Frenchman also made a joke about the mishap in an Instagram snap of himself and DJ Garrix on dock and he captioned it: “Life is beautiful when friends come say hi!!! Just a little expensive!”

Meanwhile, DJ Guetta has recently insisted that he does not really care about making hit music now. The forty seven year old DJ and record producer has been unveiling music since Just a Little More Lovem the 2002 album, but it was his 2009 album One Love which brought Guetta’s electronic music into the mainstream. He has now sold more than thirty million singles as well as ten million albums.

With that sort of success behind him David Guetta now feels that he doesn’t need to worry so much about ensuring that he produces hits. According to Tour Dates, Guetta admits that there is less pressure on him now because his last album, Nothing But The Beat was full of chart-topping hits. He revealed how difficult it was to go into the studio feeling that you have to come up with something that will sell well and score highly in the charts.
